## Description

Based at The Old Dairy in Redbourn, UK, the studio works with clients to create innovative, robust and adaptable designs suited to both present and future requirements. Its services include data centre design and feasibility studies, supported by specialist expertise and collaboration with clients and wider project teams. The practice’s portfolio includes projects such as Colt London, Dublin Data Centre and Telehouse TN2.

Sustainability is central to studioNWA’s approach. The team works to improve energy efficiency, reduce operational and embodied carbon, and consider materials, water, waste, transport and urban greening in its designs. It also supports projects pursuing BREEAM and LEED assessments and uses its ECMat tool to assess and benchmark the embodied carbon of materials. A fabric-first approach and digital design tools help inform decisions about thermal performance and renewable energy opportunities. studioNWA is ISO 14001:2015 certified and reports on its own operational carbon management and environmental initiatives.
