## Description

Stuttgarter Segel-Club e.V. is a sailing association based at the Max-Eyth-See in Stuttgart. Founded in 1950, it has around 370 members and a club facility with a clubhouse and berths on land and water. The club welcomes beginners and experienced sailors, whether they sail for recreation or competition, and offers activities for children, young people and adults.

Its sailing education includes theory and practical courses to prepare participants for the Sportbootführerschein Binnen and See, the Bodenseeschifferpatent, the SKS and radio certificates. Courses are open to non-members as well as members. Practical training takes place on club boats at the Max-Eyth-See and on the Baltic Sea. Members can take part in dinghy sailing, regattas, cruising and touring, with access to club yachts for trips on the Baltic Sea and Lake Constance. The club also offers boat charter, youth programs and inclusive sailing for people with disabilities. Members and prospective sailors can connect at the weekly Tuesday club evening, which includes a program and refreshments once a month.
