## Description

**Brand: British Council & HSBC India**

The British Council, a prominent global organization committed to cultural relations and educational opportunities, has partnered with HSBC India to launch the Climate Skills: Seeds for Transition India Project. This initiative aims to empower young people aged 18-30 across five countries, including India, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, and Vietnam, by providing training and education focused on climate resilience and sustainability. The project strives to integrate climate education into mainstream curricula while informing policymakers about innovative strategies.

Key activities include training 300 master trainers and directly engaging 2,000 youths, fostering leadership skills and the capacity to drive community-level change. It emphasizes the importance of linking local actions to global climate challenges. Featured events such as panel discussions and film screenings further highlight the critical role of youth in promoting sustainable economic growth. The Climate Skills initiative not only enhances climate literacy but also aims to improve employability among marginalized communities, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
