## Description

The Sublett Family Association is a nonprofit organization established in 2001 to preserve and share the history and genealogy of the Soblet and related families. Its research focuses on the direct descendants of Abraham Soblet, a French Huguenot refugee who came to America with his family in 1700, as well as connected family lines in Europe and North America. The association covers surname variations including Soblet, Soublet, Soblit, Sublet, Sublett, and Sublette.

Its resources and activities include an online family tree, family news, historical documents, books, videos, and information about family locations. The association gathers records, photographs, articles, and other historical materials, and supports research into family ancestors and notable descendants. It also shares and publishes findings online and through books, periodicals, charts, and other publications, and works to preserve out-of-print family histories.

Family members and other researchers can contribute corrections or information, donate copies of documents for the online library, post research queries, and apply for membership.
