## Description

Subsense is a neurotechnology company developing a non-surgical, nanoparticle-based brain-computer interface called NanoBCI. Its platform combines biocompatible nanoparticles with wearable hardware to read and stimulate neural signals, aiming to connect the human brain with technology and artificial intelligence. The system is designed to deliver nanoparticles intranasally, guide them toward specific brain regions, and control them wirelessly through an external wearable device.

Subsense is initially focused on medical applications, including neural monitoring and neuromodulation for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. The company says it is advancing its technology through controlled clinical and research settings, with safety, efficacy, and trust as priorities. It has also initiated early engagement with the US Food and Drug Administration; its products are not authorized, cleared, or approved by the FDA for marketing in the United States, and performance claims have not been evaluated by the agency.

Beyond treatment, Subsense envisions applying its platform to new forms of communication and perception, neural-level human-AI interaction, and cognitive extension.
