SUEDKenya is a brand dedicated to supporting municipalities in developing sustainable urban economic plans that attract investment for climate resilient infrastructure and value chain projects. These strategies are aimed at attracting investment, including public-private partnerships, to fund climate resilient infrastructure and value chains identified in the urban economic plans.

To ensure the sustainability of their efforts, SUED offers capacity building programs to enhance the planning, investment, value chain, and municipal management capabilities of municipal staff. Furthermore, the brand sets aside seed funding to de-risk investments and incentivize both the public and private sectors to partner with municipalities in achieving their urban economic goals.

SUEDKenya places great importance on gender and social inclusivity, incorporating enterprise development activities that enhance the employability of marginalized populations. Additionally, the brand promotes economic development that is resilient to climate change.
