## Description

Suen Mei Language and Hearing Training Centre is a Hong Kong centre dedicated to supporting young children with hearing impairment. Guided by a Christian spirit of care, it serves children aged 0 to 6 and aims to help them develop spoken language and communicate with confidence. The centre provides hearing assessments for preschool children and arranges individual hearing and speech training. Its approach helps children make use of their residual hearing while building language abilities and clearer speech. Parents are also taught how to support their child’s learning through practice in everyday life.

Beyond individual training, the centre organises activities to encourage children’s development in language, character, physical well-being, social skills and emotional growth. Parent meetings, talks and alumni gatherings offer families opportunities to share experiences, support one another and access relevant information. The centre also provides individual language and articulation training for children with speech sound difficulties or delayed language development.
