## Description

Suomen Sukututkimusseura is a prominent organization dedicated to genealogy in Finland, hosting the largest annual gathering for family historians in the country. The 44th National Genealogy Days, known as Suku 2022, will take place online from March 12 to 13, 2022, featuring a program streamed on the organization's YouTube channel. This year’s theme focuses on leveraging genomic data in genealogy, approached through the lens of Savonian settlement history.

The event will include eight specialized presentations over the two days, complemented by expert consultations available through the association's Facebook group. Suomen Sukututkimusseura aims to connect genealogy enthusiasts through learning opportunities and community engagement. Participants can also subscribe to a monthly newsletter for updates on genealogy news and events. By fostering education and collaboration, the organization serves as a vital resource for anyone looking to explore their ancestry and enrich their understanding of Finnish heritage.
