Aikido was developed by Morihei Ueshiba in the early twentieth century. The practice focuses on redirecting the force and energy of an attack to unbalance an aggressor, then project or immobilize them. At Summit View Aikido, beginners and advanced students practice together, with training described as accessible to people of different sizes, ages, and genders. Classes emphasize mutual respect, cooperation, and helping partners learn and improve. The school highlights potential benefits including balance, flexibility, coordination, body awareness, self-defense, confidence, relaxation, conflict resolution, and enjoyment. Its approach presents practice as serious and energetic while remaining supportive and joyful, reflecting aikido’s aim to manage aggression without causing injury. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/SummitViewAikido) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idpA_flgMo/w/529/h/210/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793716568213) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idpA_flgMo/w/323/h/323/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793716568429) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #ea242c | accent | | Limeade | #6d8b06 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - proxima — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
