Since 1985, the Festival has been showcasing dramatic and documentary features, short films, and episodic content. In addition to screenings, the Festival also hosts daily filmmaker conversations, panel discussions, and other events.
Each year, hundreds of films launched at the Festival have gained critical acclaim and reached new audiences worldwide. The 2023 Sundance Film Festival will be held from January 19th to 29th. The organizers are currently working on designing a safe and accessible Festival, where audiences and artists can come together to celebrate and discover new work.
More details will be announced in the fall to help you plan accordingly. The Festival offers various programs and opportunities for artists, including labs, fellowships, grants, and programs like the Artist Accelerator, Documentary Film, Episodic Program, Feature Film, Ignite, Indigenous Program, Outreach and Inclusion, Producers Program, Women At Sundance, and Short Film. They also provide online courses for enthusiasts to learn and develop their skills.
