## Description

Sundays Child is a luxury hair boutique at 42–44 Market Street in Hebden Bridge, combining expert hairdressing with an eco-conscious approach to beauty. Founded by Melanie Baker, the salon focuses on precision cuts, creative styling and timeless, wearable hair in a welcoming space designed around the client experience.

Melanie trained with Vidal Sassoon, served as Assistant Creative Director in Manchester and taught at the Sassoon Academy in London. Her experience also includes working with Revlon at London Fashion Week. The team includes Karen, an experienced hairdresser and educator whose career has taken her from Vidal Sassoon salons and academies to leading education roles in the industry. In-house beautician Emily offers treatments to complement salon visits, including services for brows and skin.

Sustainability is central to the salon’s approach. Sundays Child uses KEVIN.MURPHY haircare, described as high-performance and cruelty-free, and works with Green Salon Collective to recycle hair, metals and salon waste. Compostable towels and refillable haircare bottles further support efforts to reduce waste.
