## Description

Sunnycroft is a family-run care home in West End, Southampton, specialising in dementia care and holding an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission. Owned by the Hawkins family since 1996, the home is built around familiar relationships, continuity and compassionate support. Many team members have worked there for years, helping them understand residents’ routines, preferences and personalities.

Residents enjoy home-cooked meals, including freshly baked cakes, and a varied daily programme of optional activities designed around their interests. The home’s semi-rural setting offers countryside views while remaining close to the M27. Families are welcome to visit freely, without appointments, and Sunnycroft aims to keep them informed about residents’ wellbeing.

Services include long-term care and respite stays, with visiting hairdressers, chiropodists, dentists and opticians available on site. Sunnycroft discusses fees and funding openly, including self-funding and local-authority options, and says fees do not rise when care needs change. Prospective residents and families can arrange a visit or speak with the team without obligation.
