## Description

Sunset Bay Outrigger Canoe Club is an ocean sports club based at Eimeo Beach in Mackay, Queensland. It welcomes paddlers of all experience levels, from beginners trying outrigger canoeing for the first time to experienced members training for competition. The club offers a relaxed, friendly environment for people who want to enjoy time on the water, improve fitness, or pursue racing. Experienced coaches support training and help ensure sessions are conducted safely.

Newcomers can attend their first six sessions free, and beginners are welcome at all regular training sessions. The club provides paddling equipment, so participants only need to bring essentials such as water, a hat, sunscreen, and a towel. Training is scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. After the trial sessions, membership and registration or insurance fees apply, with separate rates for seniors and juniors. Sunset Bay Outrigger Canoe Club also shares club information and resources, promotes merchandise, and lists its Regatta 2026 event. It is located on Eimeo Esplanade in Mackay.
