## Description

Sunshine Palmetto is the author and publishing brand of Laura Fackler, created with the mission of helping writers become authors. Laura is now focusing on her own books and no longer offers general publishing services, although she may occasionally take on a project that inspires her. The site features Bedtime for Bun Bun, a children’s story about Bun Bun, who is tired but reluctant to go to bed. As her family tries different ways to help her fall asleep, readers can discover whether any of them work.

Laura brings experience in education and youth work to her writing. She earned a master’s degree in education while teaching preschool, previously served as a youth director, and currently teaches elementary science and works as a dean of students. She enjoys reading, learning, and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach and while traveling. Laura lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her two daughters and their pets.
