# Suomi Meloo - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `suomimeloo.fi` ## Description Suomi Meloo ry is the Finnish association responsible for organising Suomi Meloo, a relaxed, sociable paddling and outdoor event held in Finland’s lake, river and coastal landscapes. The event brings participants together for a week of activity divided into daily or staged sections, ranging from a few kilometres to around 40 kilometres. Its focus is on enjoying movement and scenic waterways in a welcoming, communal setting. The association’s members are the Finnish Canoeing and Rowing Federation and Suomen Latu, a Finnish outdoor recreation organisation. Suomi Meloo ry provides information for prospective and registered participants, including event details, prices, payment instructions and a registration form. It also publishes practical guidance, participant checklists and arrangements for accommodation and meals at exchange points, as well as logistics information. The 40th Suomi Meloo event took place in 2026, arriving at Sahanlahti in Puumala on 12 June.
