# SureFly - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `surefly.net` ## Description SureFly Partners, Ltd. develops FAA-certified electronic ignition systems for piston-engine aircraft, offering a solid-state alternative to traditional magnetos. Its SureFly Ignition Module (SIM) replaces one magneto, typically the left or impulse-coupled starting magneto, on compatible Lycoming and Continental engines. Four- and six-cylinder units are available, and approved installations may use one or two SIMs. SureFly also provides installation guidance, application information, technical support, troubleshooting resources, and an experimental Apex Ignition Harness. Designed without mechanical parts that wear, SIMs have a 2,400-hour operating service time and require no scheduled inspections, rebuilds, or overhauls, helping reduce maintenance and downtime. More consistent spark energy and variable timing advance can improve cruise efficiency and fuel economy on eligible aircraft. Precise timing at low engine speeds and longer spark dwell are designed to support easier starts. The company manufactures its modules in Granbury, Texas, and serves the piston-engine aviation market. SureFly offers engine and airframe installation instructions, including guidance for dual-SIM power requirements, and notes that installations require a Slick-style ignition harness. ## Industries - 🏎 Vehicles - 🏎 Aviation _(under Vehicles)_ - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering - 🏭 Aerospace and Defense _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/surefly.aero) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id91RbIrds/w/91/h/39/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793120183243) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id91RbIrds/w/960/h/960/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793120183481) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Purple | #5000aa | accent | | Mine Shaft | #383838 | dark | | Chetwode Blue | #7c9edb | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
