## Description

The Swedish Surfing Association (Svenska Surfförbundet) is the national home of surfing in Sweden. It works to develop the sport, support surfers at different levels and represent Sweden in international competition, from local beaches to world championships and the Olympic pathway. The association brings together local clubs, including Halmstad Vågsurfare, Salusand Soulsurfers, Stockholm Surfers, Varbergs Förenade Surfare and Österlen Surfklubb.

Its activities span wave surfing, longboarding and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The association supports the Swedish national team and competitors, and provides information and initiatives for SUP, including competitions, camps and national-team activities. Its development programs include junior surfing and SSA Road to LA, alongside international opportunities for longboard surfers.

The association also organizes and promotes events such as the Swedish Longboard Tour, with stops hosted by surf communities around the country, and shares news, calendars, videos and information about its work and partnerships. Through club membership and individual membership, it connects surfers, supports participation and helps build the sport’s future in Sweden.
