## Description

South Umpqua Rod and Gun Club (SURGC) is a shooting sports club in Riddle, Oregon, founded on October 7, 1936. The club operates a range open to members and the public, with nonmembers welcome for a $5 daily-use donation. Its facilities include rifle, pistol, shotgun, and air gun shooting disciplines, a 100-yard range, an enclosed pistol range, a covered shooting range, an indoor classroom, and a clubhouse. Range access and operating conditions may change, so visitors are encouraged to check the club’s website for current information and follow posted safety rules.

SURGC offers club memberships and information about its bylaws, events, and range use. Training services include an NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course and instruction for Oregon Concealed Handgun License applicants. The club also shares news and a calendar of activities, and holds meetings that are open to the public. Its range rules address permitted firearms, ammunition, targets, and conduct; hearing protection is mandatory. The club invites support for range maintenance through donations and member assistance.
