## Description

The International Surgical Sleep Society (ISSS) is a professional organization dedicated to the surgical evaluation and treatment of people with sleep disorders. It brings together surgeons and other professionals from around the world to discuss advances in sleep surgery, share research, and support better care for patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. ISSS organizes international scientific meetings, including annual meetings that provide a forum for collaboration and help foster ongoing research initiatives. The society also offers membership and professional resources, with information for established clinicians, trainees, and patients. Its programs include education, fellowships, mentorship, career resources, and a member directory to help patients find a professional. ISSS shares guidance and research through newsletters, oral abstracts, and position statements, including a statement on sleep surgery and a hyoid position statement. Members and visitors can also explore the Voices of Otolaryngology podcast, which features conversations with ISSS members on topics related to sleep care and the evolution of sleep surgery.
