## Description

Surrey Park Swimming is a not-for-profit swimming and aquatic education organisation serving Melbourne’s eastern and northern suburbs. Established in 1904, it is one of Victoria’s oldest and largest swimming clubs, with a long-standing connection to the Box Hill community. Its programs support swimmers at every stage, from early water confidence to competitive and masters swimming.

The swim schools offer lessons for babies and toddlers, preschoolers, children, teenagers and adults, alongside school-group classes and holiday intensives. Other programs include learn-to-dive lessons, club swimming, squad training and high-performance athlete development. The organisation emphasises progressive, technique-focused teaching, water safety and an inclusive, supportive environment.

Surrey Park Swimming operates at Blackburn, Box Hill and Heidelberg, with diving available at Box Hill. The Blackburn and Heidelberg pools use mineral salts. Its club has a history across swimming, water polo and artistic swimming, and its athletes have represented Australia in aquatic sports. Through lessons, training and community activities, Surrey Park aims to help swimmers build skills, confidence and lasting connections.
