## Description

Surrey Sailing Club is a welcoming, community-focused water sports club based at Blackie Spit near Crescent Beach in Surrey, British Columbia. For more than 50 years, it has promoted sailing and brought together members of all ages, from youth to seniors. The club is a Sail Canada member and an accredited CANSail training site, with instruction delivered by certified instructors. Its sailing programs include courses for different ages and schedules, as well as summer day camps for children; lesson availability may vary with staffing and the season.

Members and visitors can enjoy sailing, sailboat racing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and coastal rowing. The club also helps people connect with fellow paddlers and sailors, including those seeking crew opportunities. Facilities include a clubhouse, picnic tables and a barbecue, offering a relaxed setting for family outings and club gatherings. Members can apply for storage space for sailboats, kayaks, paddleboards and rowing sculls, with most stored craft owned by members.
