## Description

Susi Clark is a weaver and textile designer based in Thurgoland, South Yorkshire, whose work combines a background in architecture and architectural education with an exploration of form, space and light. She creates two main types of woven work: functional pieces such as scarves, cushions and bags, and wall or window hangings designed to enhance interior spaces or filter light. Using natural fibres including wool, linen, cotton and paper, Susi works on several looms in her studio. Her designs explore three-dimensional forms, dynamic weave structures, colour and material.

Alongside her textile work, Susi offers workshops and tuition for guilds, groups and individual learners. Sessions include an introduction to loom weaving, preparing and dressing a loom, and developing design ideas through observation, drawing, sampling and weave structure. Workshops are available as full-day sessions, with some offered individually or as a pair. Susi also shares workshop dates and studio updates through a monthly email newsletter.
