## Description

Sussex County Government is the primary governing body for over 200,000 residents in Delaware's largest and southernmost county. With its expansive 938 square miles, the county boasts the largest land area and ranks second in population size in the state. The County Council, consisting of five elected members, leads the government, while County Administrator oversees all offices and departments. Established in 1970, this Council-Administrator form of government aims to address the diverse interests and issues within the constituency.
