## Description

SustainingUS is a sustainability consulting and education organization focused on helping individuals and institutions create positive change. Its work is guided by a triple-bottom-line approach, with the goal of supporting a high quality of life today and into the future. The organization develops sustainability experiences that connect learning with practical action, emphasizing experiential education and the outdoor classroom. Its educational programs encourage student-driven exploration and the creation of new solutions to resource-related challenges. SustainingUS also promotes ideas such as sustainable consumption, local food, from-scratch cooking, ecosystem restoration, and community engagement. The organization is led by Blake Schnebly, whose background includes environmental science and environmental horticulture, with a focus on ecosystem restoration. Based in Idaho, SustainingUS works to advance more sustainable communities and lifestyles. Its activities include events such as Project GREEN, which brings educators together through a teacher sustainability summit. Through consulting, education, and shared experiences, SustainingUS aims to make sustainability meaningful and accessible for people and institutions.
