## Description

Schützenverein Oberrieden (SV Oberrieden) is a shooting club serving the community of Oberrieden. The club focuses on the sporting side of shooting, with competitions in the 300-metre and 25-metre disciplines. It also provides an opportunity for members and other eligible participants to complete Switzerland’s out-of-service shooting obligation, known as the Federal Exercise or mandatory shooting (OP). Sessions are offered on three dates each year, with further information available through the club’s website.

The club publishes a 2026 shooting schedule, which can be found on the Municipality of Oberrieden’s website or accessed through the club’s site. Visitors can also check club information and subscribe to the calendar for use in Outlook, iCal, or mobile devices. SV Oberrieden notes that its website is being updated following changes to the committee, with the aim of keeping information current and making the site more user-friendly. The club lists Stefan Rychen as president and acknowledges local sponsors, including Stickerei Schuler, Optik Kälin, and Metzgerei Abegg.
