## Description

Segelsportverein Wiking e.V. is a sailing club based at the Wieltsee in Dreye, near Bremen, with the Weser as its wider home sailing area. Established more than 70 years ago, the club brings together sailors of different ages and experience levels who share an enjoyment of time on and around the water. Its fleet ranges from Optimist dinghies and racing or touring dinghies to sailing yachts of up to 10 metres and motor yachts. The Wieltsee has direct access to the Weser, including for deeper-draft boats.

During the sailing season, members can use the club’s harbour berths and the clubhouse beside the harbour. The clubhouse includes a shared room and a sunny terrace overlooking the lake, nearby fields and the dike. In winter, boats and equipment can be stored in the club’s own indoor winter-storage hall, less than two kilometres from the harbour. The hall also has communal rooms used for social gatherings, sailing discussions and training.
