## Description

Svalebæk Isheste is an Icelandic horse breeding, training and sales stable based at Svalebækgård in Funder, west of Silkeborg, Denmark. Founded as a professional business in 2016, it is jointly run by Rikke and Nikolai Lønbro Svalebæk. The farm breeds three to four Icelandic foals each year and offers services for horses and riders.

The stable trains and starts horses under saddle, develops their gaits and helps refine their fitness and riding. Its approach combines classical dressage principles with gait training, with an emphasis on suppleness, responsiveness and bringing out each horse’s individual qualities. Horses are prepared for both recreational trail riding and competition.

Svalebæk Isheste also sells its own horses and offers professional advice and commission sales for owners seeking a suitable buyer. Other services include full-time boarding and riding instruction for all levels, provided at the farm or at clients’ locations, with individual lessons and weekend courses available. With more than 25 years of experience in horse education, the stable welcomes enquiries from Icelandic horse owners and riders.
