## Description

SVH Waterpolo is a Rotterdam-based water polo club that has competed in the Netherlands since 1926. The association combines sport and enjoyment, welcoming members to participate at different levels and providing opportunities to train, compete, and get involved in club life. SVH has 24 teams: six men’s teams, two women’s teams, and 16 youth teams. Men’s Teams 1 and 2 and Women’s Team 1 compete in national leagues, while the club’s strong focus on youth supports its ambition to keep growing. Training and home matches are based at the Wilgenring swimming pool in Rotterdam; the club also has a clubhouse at ’t Zwarte Plasje. Prospective members can arrange a trial training session, and the club provides information about membership, training schedules, teams, fixtures, and club clothing. SVH’s activities extend beyond the pool, with volunteers helping organize match days and community events. The association also raises funds through initiatives such as its seasonal butter-letter bakery and club lottery, and offers club merchandise, including anniversary items, through its webshop.
