Founded in 1935 as "Shoes & Views," it's evolved through various eras, moving from a subsidiary of the Port Elizabeth Managers' Association to a sole proprietorship under Tony Dickson. S&V now publishes several key trade magazines, including S&V Footwear & Leather Goods, S&V African Leather, and S&V Protect. These publications cater to diverse audiences, from manufacturers and retailers to consumers in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sector. The annual S&V Directory, along with a weekly newsletter started in 2015, further supports industry professionals by providing timely news and comprehensive listings. Transitioning to digital formats in 2015, S&V adapts to contemporary demands while continuing its mission to cover industry developments thoroughly. With decades of experience, S&V remains one of Africa's oldest and most respected trade publications, dedicated to nurturing and informing the leather and footwear sectors. ## Industries - 📰 News and Media - 📊 Business and Consumer Services - 📊 Publishing and Printing _(under Business and Consumer Services)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Public Records and Directories _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/SV-Publishers-102405465171394) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idX3CBvgU8/w/150/h/44/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778639393513) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idX3CBvgU8/w/600/h/600/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778639393696) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Forest Green | #34b22a | accent | | Cod Gray | #1d1d1d | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - gothamxnarrow-black — asset _(custom)_ - dinpro — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
