## Description

Silicon Valley Massage Therapy Group (SVMTG) was a Bay Area provider of on-site therapeutic massage and massage therapy education. Founded in 2011 by graduates of the National Holistic Institute, the group served more than 8,000 wellness clients over 12 years and developed services for corporate clients and events. After closing its brick-and-mortar offices in 2017, SVMTG focused on bringing personalized massage to businesses, educational institutions, and special events, serving both large and small organizations.

The group also offered massage therapy education, including MBLEx preparation and tutoring for aspiring massage therapists. As one of the Bay Area’s NCBTMB-certified massage therapy education providers, it shared professional knowledge through learning support and speaking engagements. Topics included customer service, experiences building a massage practice, and guidance for those interested in starting their own business. SVMTG stated that its operations closed on June 1, 2023.
