## Description

SVRC Industries, Inc. is a Saginaw, Michigan organization that creates opportunities and support for people facing barriers to employment and community access. Founded in 1962 by parents seeking meaningful opportunities for their children with disabilities, SVRC continues that mission by helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build connections, workplace skills, and a sense of belonging.

Its Empowered Voices initiative supports community participation, connection, and job readiness. Through Industrial Operations, SVRC provides packaging, light precision assembly, quality sorting, material management, and pick-and-pack services, with teams that include people of diverse abilities and backgrounds. SVRC Janitorial Services offers cleaning solutions, combining inclusive employment with environmental stewardship.

The organization also connects the community with the Westlund Guidance Clinic, which provides mental health services focused on well-being and emotional wellness. Its SVRC Marketplace, located along Saginaw’s riverfront, brings together artisanal crafts, local food, and a range of goods, while supporting local entrepreneurship and community integration. Together, these programs and services advance SVRC’s commitment to opportunity, connection, and brighter futures across the community.
