## Description

SW420 is a dedicated project aimed at reclaiming a nuanced understanding of the Star Wars universe as it existed before the prequels. The platform serves as an online encyclopedia that strives to maintain the rich narratives and lore from the original Star Wars Expanded Universe (EU), operating under a unique interpretive standard known as the 420 Canon. This initiative evolves from the frustration of many fans who feel that the prequels detract from previously established storylines and character developments.

SW420 seeks to recreate the extensive database of Wookieepedia while ensuring that all content conforms to the 420 Canon. The site focuses on selectively importing and refining existing articles, eliminating non-canonical information, and enhancing user accessibility. By avoiding content duplication and reducing unnecessary links, the project aims to facilitate clearer research and provide a more streamlined experience for fans. SW420 is not just a repository of information; it is a community for those who wish to explore and celebrate the storytelling that defined their childhoods.
