## Description

Swarm-Aurora is a research project designed to support the use of satellite data in auroral science. It aims to connect data from the Swarm mission with the scientific community and optical observations of the aurora, particularly images from ground-based All-Sky Imagers (ASIs). By bringing together summary data products from ground and satellite instruments, the project helps researchers explore potential relationships between spacecraft observations and auroral activity.

The website provides several tools for working with these data. Its Conjunction Finder displays satellite magnetic footprints alongside imager fields of view and keograms, helping users identify opportunities to compare satellite and ground-based observations. The Keogram Browser allows users to view keograms from multiple all-sky imager sites and networks side by side. The site also offers data availability information and links to related resources.

Swarm-Aurora is part of the broader AuroraX project, which aims to make existing and future auroral data easier to discover and explore. AuroraX’s conjunction search can identify conjunctions and open them in Swarm-Aurora, supporting research across auroral instrumentation.
