## Description

Sweet Mother Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2010 to give underprivileged children, particularly disadvantaged girls, a second chance through education. Its mission is to transform, empower, and serve as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of girls locally and globally. The organization supports the FAWE (Forum of African Women Educationalists) Secondary School for Girls in Waterloo Village, Sierra Leone, helping fund essential classrooms and annual scholarships. This work serves girls affected by severe hardship, including those orphaned by the Ebola crisis, and supports FAWE Sierra Leone’s efforts to reach more children through a second facility.

Sweet Mother also brings supporters together through fundraising and community events, including its annual fundraiser and award gala. Each year, it recognizes women for their achievements in motherhood, business, professional life, and community service. Award categories include Mother of the Year, Outstanding Business Woman, Woman of Distinction, Community Leader, Community Advocate, Emerging Young Professionals, and Renaissance Woman of the Year.
