## Description

Swimmers is a registered charity in England and Wales that supports men and couples in the UK affected by male factor infertility. Its mission is to help people access the testing and treatment they need to start or grow a family by reducing some of the financial barriers to care.

The charity offers grants towards male fertility diagnostic testing, including semen, hormonal and genetic tests; consultations with urologists or fertility specialists; and assisted reproductive treatments such as IVF and ICSI. Depending on available resources, grants may cover some or all of specified costs. Funding is paid to a service provider or partner rather than directly to applicants, and is available only when the full grant amount has been secured.

Applicants generally must be aged 21 to 40, live in the UK and have the right to reside there. Medical documentation and evidence of readiness for treatment may be required, and applicants must also meet any criteria set by partner providers. Applications are assessed against published eligibility and selection criteria.
