## Description

The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) is the national governing body for aquatic sports in India. As a non-profit association registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, it oversees competitions in various aquatic disciplines including swimming, masters swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, high diving, and water polo. Affiliated to FINA and the Asian Swimming Federation (ASF), the SFI plays a vital role in promoting and developing swimming in India. With a vision to produce champions on the international stage, the SFI has partnered with Glenmark Aquatic Foundation, Speedo, and Myrtha Pools. These partnerships aim to enhance the ecosystem of swimming in India through sponsorship of national events, coach education, and scientific development. The SFI annually conducts prestigious events such as the Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships, Junior National Aquatic Championships, Senior National Aquatic Championships, National Masters Swimming, and National Club Championships. Additionally, the SFI offers training programs, clinics, and scholarships for coaches and swimmers, supported by FINA.
