## Description

The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) is a nonprofit professional association headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and describes itself as the world’s largest and most diverse swimming coaches’ association. It supports swimming coaches at every career stage through education, certification, professional development, recognition, and community. Members can pursue a certification pathway from foundational coaching credentials to elite levels, take self-paced courses, attend clinics, and access resources created to strengthen their coaching practice. These include technique videos and stroke analysis, coaching articles, performance data, workout ideas shared through a workout exchange, and expert talks. ASCA also offers a career center with job listings, employer postings, and career resources for swimming coaches and aquatic professionals. Its events include regional clinics and the annual ASCA World Clinic, bringing coaches together for learning and connection. Additional programs and initiatives include coach awards, a Hall of Fame, mentoring, a Fellows Program, a Women’s Initiative, and the 30 Under 30 program.
