The council has adopted the kerbside sort method of collection, which has proven to increase the efficiency and quality of recycling. The new service will provide clear instructions on separating recycling materials correctly, ensuring maximal recycling and reducing contamination. Future communication will inform residents about changes to collection days. The council will continue its commitment to assisted collections and will still collect waste from agreed collection points.
