## Description

Swiss Chin Woo Kung Fu Athletic Association is the official association for Chin Woo martial arts in Switzerland. Founded in 1975 by Grandmaster Kok Yeng Chow, it has carried forward his commitment to teaching and sharing Chinese martial arts. The Chin Woo tradition traces its origins to an association established in Shanghai around 1909, and its name reflects ideals of refinement, courage and martial skill.

The association’s training brings together northern and southern Chinese Kung Fu styles. Instruction focuses particularly on Wing Chun, Choy Lee Fatt, Shaolin, Taijiquan, Qi Gong, modern Wushu, and Sanda-Qingda. Alongside physical practice, Chin Woo schools emphasize wisdom, kindness, courage, discipline, respect, good conduct, perseverance, strength, honesty and fairness. Students are encouraged to work hard and earn their teacher’s trust as they develop their skills.

Swiss Chin Woo also shares information about its masters, philosophy, concepts and activities through its website and blog. Visitors can contact the association about membership, submit a blog contribution, or inquire about booking a Swiss Chin Woo show.
