## Description

Switched on Bikes is an independent bicycle business based on Wellington’s waterfront, helping visitors and locals explore the city by bike. Open seven days a week, the company offers rentals of eBikes, city bikes, mountain bikes and other models, along with guided eBike tours around Wellington’s bays. Its two-day Remutaka adventure features coastal scenery, native bush and views, with breakfasts, lunches, accommodation and luggage transfers included. Customers can also find recommended local cycling routes, arrange long-term leases for eBikes, regular bikes or eScooters, and book servicing or specialised eBike work through the fully equipped workshop. The waterfront store stocks Corratec and Merida eBikes, with a nearby car-free zone suitable for test rides. Gift vouchers are available for rentals and mountain-bike outings. In partnership with Wellington City Council, Switched on Bikes also supports a free Kids Bike Library, helping Pōneke families borrow bikes as children grow. With more than a decade of experience and top-rated tours and rentals on TripAdvisor, the business provides practical ways to ride, explore and travel around Wellington.
