## Description

SYKY is an AI research and technology initiative focused on building mechanistic world models: systems designed to identify the hidden variables, mechanisms, and causal relationships that shape the physical world. Rather than relying only on pattern matching or observation, its approach aims to help intelligent systems understand why events occur and reason beyond situations they have already encountered.

SYKY describes a discovery process that observes interactions, identifies uncertainty, tests competing explanations through interventions, and incorporates the resulting evidence into its models. Its system combines an AI scientist that proposes hypotheses and experiments, a recursive self-improvement process that refines representations and research strategies, and the DARE Network, a distributed group of robots conducting physical experiments in laboratories and real-world environments.

The initiative brings together expertise in artificial intelligence, robotics, product strategy, and autonomous systems. Its stated ambition is to help build autonomous systems that can understand, decide, and act while remaining controllable. The broader goal is to make machine intelligence more capable of discovering how the physical world works.
