The Syngap Global Network (SGN) is a collaborative initiative uniting organizations and families affected by Syngap1 around the globe. Our mission focuses on fostering local communities while facilitating worldwide connectivity for those impacted by this genetic condition. With over 1,497 diagnosed individuals, SGN aims to reduce the isolation faced by Syngap families by providing essential resources and promoting awareness. 

We facilitate education and advocacy efforts globally, aiming to streamline patient diagnoses and create a robust patient registry. SGN serves as a central hub, offering information on regional activities related to Syngap1 awareness and research, thereby breaking down cultural and language barriers. Though not a legal entity and not involved in fundraising, our focus is on coordination and communication among advocates worldwide. Through initiatives like International Syngap1 Awareness Day, we aim to create ongoing visibility for the community's needs until effective treatments or cures are found. Join us in our journey, as we act locally and connect globally for a brighter future.
