## Description

SZNH, or Samenwerkende Zwembaden Noord-Holland, is a collaborative network for swimming pools in North Holland. Its central message is that working together is key to the sector’s future. The organisation brings swimming pool professionals and businesses together to share knowledge, support one another and strengthen their position as a group.

SZNH invites swimming pools to become members and offers access to a professional network, along with substantial discounts on training, courses and other professional development. It also organises educational workshops and networking events for people working in swimming pools and swim schools. Recent programme examples include a practical workshop on using music and rhythm in aquasport classes, and a networking meeting featuring a presentation by former Olympic speed skater Irene Schouten.

Through its website, SZNH shares information about upcoming events and training, vacancies at participating pools, sponsorship, and how to join. The organisation also provides information about its background and aims, and publishes resources such as its “Vrolijk en Veilig” protocol.
