## Description

The Dutch T1 Colorectal Cancer Working Group is a multidisciplinary collaboration of gastroenterologists, surgeons and pathologists focused on T1 colorectal cancer. Its aim is to advance high-quality research into the detection, diagnosis, treatment and surveillance of the disease, strengthen shared knowledge and awareness, and reduce referrals for surgery that are unlikely to benefit patients. The group brings together participating centers and supports research projects, publications and clinical collaboration, including regional tumor boards and the CROSSROADS initiative. CROSSROADS studies care after local excision of pT1–T2 colon carcinomas, combining prospective cohorts with historical data to assess guideline implementation and recurrence. The group also provides practical resources for clinicians and patients, including a calculator, colorectal cancer guideline information, patient videos and decision-support materials. Its educational activities include webinars and the T1 CRC Symposium, which convenes specialists and researchers for discussion of clinical techniques, emerging topics and communication. The working group welcomes questions, new participants and collaboration on future trials, helping professionals make informed decisions about care for people with T1 colorectal cancer.
