## Description

Taberna Romana brings the flavors and culinary heritage of ancient Rome to modern tables. Founded by Mireille Chérubini, whose interest was inspired by the archaeological site of Glanum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the brand draws on ancient texts and archaeological research to create products and experiences rooted in Roman gastronomy. Its range includes gourmet condiments such as Salyen, an herb-and-spice-flavored salt based on a recipe attributed to Apicius, as well as other products including Bibula and Cochlear. The collection also features an infusion and Latin de cuisine, Chérubini’s recipe book, published in 2018 after more than 20 years of research and developed with the involvement of archaeologists from Arles. Taberna Romana offers catering, tastings, conferences and educational workshops for groups, museums and media libraries. It also collaborates with museums on activities and exhibitions, including a group visit and tasting experience at the Musée de la Romanité in Nîmes. Products are available through its online shop and selected museums.
