TACA, or The Autism Community in Action, is an organization dedicated to providing education, support, and empowerment to families and individuals affected by autism. With a strong mission, vision, and values, TACA aims to enrich the lives of those impacted by autism. They offer various products and services to achieve their goals, including virtual support and education, events, parent mentorship, resources, and chapters. Through their TACA Connect App, individuals can access virtual support hours and connect with a community of support. TACA also hosts the National TACA Autism Conference, scholarships, and outreach programs in Southern California. To further their mission, TACA encourages people to take action by donating, supporting campaigns, fundraising, sponsoring, or volunteering as a parent mentor or at events. By joining TACA, individuals can stay updated and receive monthly news to help their children. With a commitment to making a difference, TACA believes in hope and improved outcomes for individuals affected by autism.
