## Description

TAC! Festival of Urban Architecture is an annual festival organised by Spain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda in collaboration with Fundación Arquia. It promotes innovation and experimentation in architecture by commissioning temporary pavilions in cities across Spain, with designs entrusted to emerging architects. Each pavilion creates a setting for cultural activities, workshops, public gatherings and discussion, bringing contemporary architecture into closer contact with residents and inviting reflection on urban life and social needs.

TAC! explores how temporary architecture can help create dynamic, inclusive and sustainable public spaces, encourage interaction and offer new ways to imagine the built environment. Its programme connects architecture with culture, civic participation and local identity. Past locations include Granada, San Sebastián, Valencia, Vigo, San Fernando, Alicante and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2026, the festival returns with a dual edition at the CCCB in Barcelona and Labe Garaia Parkea in Sestao, where the pavilion engages with the city’s industrial heritage and ongoing urban renewal.
