## Description

Tackle Underground is an online community for anglers and custom tackle builders, centered on sharing knowledge, ideas, and practical resources for making fishing lures and equipment. Its forums bring together beginners and experienced makers to discuss hard baits, including crankbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits, and glide baits, as well as soft plastics, wire baits, jigs, flies, rods, and reels. Members can exchange lure-making tips, showcase their work in the gallery, share files through the Downloads section, and take part in discussions across dedicated forums. The site also features classifieds, community activity pages, and a video forum for sharing lure-making videos. Tackle Underground hosts an annual lure contest, with categories spanning custom-painted and handmade hard baits, wire baits, soft baits, flies, and custom-built rods or painted reels. The contest is supported by Lure Parts Online, which provides gift certificates as prizes. With member contributions, contests, and sponsor support, Tackle Underground provides a collaborative space for learning, building, and celebrating custom fishing tackle.
