# TACO MODELS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `tacomodels.nl` ## Description Taco Models is a Dutch model railway brand that has designed and manufactured Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) train models since 1984, working independently and at times in collaboration with THS-BV. Its products have included locomotives, passenger train sets, freight wagons and detailing components in N and HO scales. The catalogue features models and projects such as the SIK shunting locomotive, NS 2200, NS 600/2000 USATC diesel locomotive, DM’90 Buffel, Bollenwagen, NS 1100 “botsneus” conversion sets, Hondekop trainsets, platform sets and other detailing parts. Some developments were not completed or released, and the company notes that it has not supplied digitised models, though some products were designed to accommodate decoder installation. Taco Models is now shifting its emphasis from developing new models to supporting existing products. It offers information, repair guidance and, while supplies last, parts and assemblies designed for its own models and items built with THS. Customers can contact the company through its website with a clear description of a fault and, where possible, photographs, so it can check parts availability or suggest a repair approach. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Models _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idVCHrzy7h/w/279/h/204/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792924379597) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chambray | #365f91 | accent | | Copper Canyon | #803d18 | dark | | Perano | #b6c8f0 | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
