## Description

TACTIC MT is a firearms, safety, and tactical training organization based in Bozeman, Montana. Founded in 2009 by Chris Forrest, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, the company teaches civilians tested military techniques to help them protect their families and avoid victimization. Its courses are designed to build practical skills, confidence, and sound decision-making through structured instruction and real-world experience.

Training options cover handguns, carbines, AK platforms, shotguns, close-quarter combat, home defense, concealed weapons permits, and long-range shooting. TACTIC also offers women-only handgun training, private instruction, hunter preparation and challenge courses, and classes in self-defense, violence avoidance, knife defense, communication, self-rescue, trauma care, land navigation, and leadership. Customers can browse available courses and calendars, or inquire about private training.

Beyond instruction, TACTIC provides security services and operates Camp Creek Gun Club. Its website also features an online school, targets, gear, gift cards, and guidance on selecting a handgun. The organization’s stated focus is helping people feel safer through capable, confidence-building training.
